Powers and Abilities:

FUTURE DEVIL Aki's contract with the Future Devil has given him some physical abilities. He is given superhuman reflexes due to precognition (he is able to see a few seconds into the future) and is able to keep up with other Fiends.

DURABILITY Aki is extremely durable, able to withstand a lot of physical harm - he has been stabbed, kicked into a wall, cut in the chest and crushed and managed to live.

CURSE DEVIL With a contract from the Curse Devil Aki has a nail-like sword. He points the sword at his target and says "fire"; after using this three time the Curse Devil appears and inflicts massive damage on his target, perhaps even killing him.

SKILLS Beyond his contracts, Aki is a capable fighter, a skilled swordsman and adept at hand to hand combat. He's also a pretty decent cook.

Character Questions:
1. Who is the person your character is most bonded with from their canon? Or who is someone they miss the most?

Where he is now, the person Aki is closest to is Denji. Their relationship started off being quite rocky, very tempermental due to the differences between them and Denji's nonchalance when it comes to devils, but it soon settled into something much more important. Denji (and Power alongside him) became so important to Aki that he was willing to give up his 'reasno for living' - his vengeance and desire to kill the gun devil. While there are other people who are important to him, when it comes to living people that he is most bonded to then Denji makes the top of the list.

2. What are they most afraid of?

The biggest fear Aki is two-fold: he is terrified of the gun devil taking more people from him and the damage that it has done, the kind of thing he has already witnessed enough to know the horrors of it, but he is also scared of losing the people he cares about. He's lost so many people already (his family, Himeno, and many other devil hunters) that the idea of having other people die in front of him is something that almost haunts him, to the point where he is willing to sacrifice himself and months of his own life to make sure they don't die. Aki isn't necessarily someone who would take risks normally, far too determined to get his vengeance and do what he needs to do, but when it comes to the fear of losing people he does end up doing "stupid" things.

3. What is their weakness? Emotionally, mentally and physically?

Physically, Aki's main weakness is that he's "just" a human. For all that he is able to make contracts with devils like other devil hunters and use them in his fighting, it's impossible for him to keep up with people like Denji and Power who are fiends and given a little more power. He is fragile, he is able to be broken and not be able to just 'heal' from taking in blood and this means that he has to be far more careful than other people. Mentally, his weakness is almost his disrespect for his own life: nothing is too much of a cost if it means that he is able to do something to track down and destroy the gun devil, even using his own life force to 'feed' the devils that he is contracted to.

4. What would make them happiest?

Aki's happiness is very simple these days: once a upon a time he would have been completely happy with the ending of the gun devil and enacting his vengeance, but now there's other things along with it. The development of his relationship with Denji and Power has left him wanting for them to be safe and taken care of, to the point where he left half his money to Denji in his will when he died. To be able to live in relative peace with his new family is something that would have made Aki endlessly happy, no matter how much of himself he would have had to sacrifice in the process.

5. What’s their type for a lover?

Aki's type isn't explored much in canon as his entire focus is on his revenge, but we can get a few ideas from how he interacts with other people. Aki is naturally a carer, someone who wants to take care of other people, so someone who will let him do that would be ideal for him. He needs someone who will be able to deal with the fact that he can be snappish, that he has a lot of trauma that he needs to process and work through - all alongside the fact that he doesn't have that long to live, so he will have to take what he can get from his relationship and enjoy the short amount of time that they will be able to spend together.
