aki hayakawa is a devil hunter working with public safety, in a special squad comprised of hunters and fiends. working with numerous contracts throughout his time in public safety (fox devil, curse devil and future devil) aki proves himself to be a useful and valuable member of the teams hunting and taking down devils that are a threat to the public.

aki ends up working with denji and power in their roles, assigned to his team. the two of them end up living with him in his apartment, and it's then that his true wifeguy abilities come to light as their caretaker, often making them their meals, doing laundry and generally taking care of them.

aki's main goal and the thing that keeps him going is his determination to make sure that the gun devil is taken down - it is why he has continued to work as a devil hunter and part of the reason why he continues to be part of public safety despite all of his losses.

aki is a tall young man with mediumish black hair that he keeps tied up above his head. he is most often found wearing his public safety uniform - a simple black suit - and carrying a sword on his back. he mostly appears quite stoic and quiet in comparison to his friends.

martial skillsas a devil hunter, aki is well trained in hand to hand combat. he is proficient with using his fists and can hold his own in a fight and he is also adept with weapons, especially the sword he carries on his back.
curse devil contract the contract that he has with the curse devil allows aki to point at a target with his nail-like and use a code word to deal damage to them. after using the word three times the curse devil appears and does a huge amount of damage to his target, often enough to kill them.
future devil contract aki's contract with the future devil allows him to see a few seconds into the future when he's fighting, allowing him to anticipate his enemy's attacks. he is also able to summon the future devil to talk to him.
natural durability despite only being a human, aki is extremely durable: he has survived multiple stabbings, being cut across his chest and being thrown into a wall.
